Audi's new R8 should be here by the fall. Powered by a 4.2 litre producing 420 bhp, the R8 will benefit from Audi's legendary Sport Biased Quattro all-wheel drive. Available transmissions will include a 6-speed manual or an optional R-tronic direct shift 6 speed with shift by wire technology including paddle shifters and a joystick shifter. The Aluminum & Magnesium body structure offers a combination of extreme rigidity with light weight. Expect performance to be around 4.6 seconds to 100 km/h, and a top speed of 300. |
